The area is most beautiful in “Green Season” (May-Nov) but offers stunning views throughout the year.

Meaning of "Baksaei"

Baksaei ("bahk-sigh") means bird in Khmer, and you will hear plenty of birdsong around our beautiful 3,000 square metre property - an oasis for nature-lovers and a haven for birds, frogs, geckos, dragonflies, and more. (But don’t worry, the friendly wildlife is our natural mosquito control system!) Our property is lined with a double ring of 300 rosewood trees and sits close to a natural creek leading into the Kampot river.
