Kampot is approximately 2.5 hours drive from Phnom Penh airport (pick up available) or 3+ hours by bus. If you are coming from the islands, direct boat services are now available. Overnight buses run from Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh.

The Host
Baksaei Retreat was established by Meg Lowder, an Australian Expat and business consultant. Meg was travelling long-term and became stranded in Cambodia when the Covid-19 pandemic began. She fell in love with the people and culture, settling in the gorgeous coastal town of Kampot at the mouth of the Tuek Cheu River and nestled at the base of Bokor Mountain National Park.
Meg is studying the Khmer language and loves sharing her passion for Cambodia with guests, along with her love of travel, having been to around 40 countries. She has great connections around southern Cambodia and delights in planning the perfect getaway for you!
